Jeppe Gjervig Gram (b. 1976) co-created the first Danish political drama series, Borgen, with head writer Adam Price, and personally wrote 14 out of the 30 episodes. Pieter Bart Korthuis (1971) is a Dutch screenwriter and director. He's the creator of the Netflix show Dirty Lines (2022) and co-wrote the political miniseries The Year of Fortuyn (2022). MITESH SHAH (INDIA) 

Mitesh Shah is a Screenwriter, Producer and Script Consultant based in Mumbai, India. His screenwriting work includes a long list of television shows and, more recently, films such as Tumbbad and Helicopter Eela. His upcoming projects are the official Indian adaption of The Intern and a web-series titled Gulkanda Tales. He is the Co-Producer of Tumbbad, Executive Producer of Ship of Theseus, and a Script Consultant for SonyLiv, one of India's leading streaming platforms. Mitesh is serving his second term as an elected Executive Committee member of the Screenwriters Association of India (SWA) and is also the Chairperson of its Education Sub-Committee.

JENNIFER DAVIDSON (IRELAND)  

Chair of the Writers Guild of Ireland (WGI) since 2020, Jennifer writes for Ireland’s national soap opera, Fair City, having been a core member of the writing team since 2012. She also has a number of original series in development. Jennifer is an experienced screenwriter with a background in documentary production and development. Having spent almost 20 years working for several of Ireland’s top independent production companies, securing commissions for a wide range of programmes, her years spent encouraging other people to have their stories told on screen informs her work as a writer. A fierce advocate for Irish writers through her work with the Guild, she has originated and run a wide number of training and development initiatives for new writers.

NADAV BEN SIMON (ISRAEL) 

Nadav Ben Simon has been a board member of the Screenwriters Guild of Israel (SGI) since 2012 and was elected Chairman in January 2021. Nadav has 15 years of experience as a TV screenwriter. His works include Israel's most popular children’s tv shows such as Elisha, and House of Dogs. He is also a co-writer on Nickelodeon's Spyders, which airs in 68 countries worldwide. He created and wrote the sitcom Abouia and has acted as co-writer on many more shows. For the past year, Nadav has been the Story Editor on Sisu ve'Simchu (Sisoo Vesimchoo) for Israel's national broadcaster KAN and is currently writing a crime feature.

ANJUM RAJABALI (INDIA)

Anjum Rajabali founded the Progressive Writers Group in 2006, which has steered the Screenwriters Association (SWA), the leading guild for Indian screenwriters, since then and heads the committees for a Minimum Basic Contract, and Legal Aid. Anjum became a screenwriter in 1992 and has written 11 films. In 2004, he set up India’s first screenwriting department at the Film & TV Institute of India and ran it for 12 years. He regularly conducts screenwriting workshops in India and abroad, and has convened several national conferences, seminars, fellowships, contests, and labs for Indian screenwriters. Anjum is also the Chairperson of the Screenwriters Rights Association of India, the CMO for Indian screenwriters.

MARIE ØSTERBYE (DENMARK)

Marie Østerbye (1975) is a Danish screenwriter who worked on all five seasons of Rita (Netflix), the final season as Showrunner. She has also written for shows such as The Rain, When the Dust Settles, and Splitting up Together. She is the co-creator of the drama Deliver Us (DR) and has also written for feature films, including the comedy Almost Perfect. She currently has a new comedy feature in production as a Swedish Netflix original. Marie holds a Master’s degree in Dramaturgy and Nordic Language and Literature and also works as a Script Consultant.

Fiona Samuel is an award-winning writer and director for television and film. Initially trained as an actor, Fiona moved behind the camera as a writer-director to gain more agency in her work and take charge of the narrative. In a three-decade career, she has created a body of work that puts the female experience front and centre, from her ground-breaking dramatic television series The Marching Girls, featuring ten young female leads, to an acclaimed trilogy of feature-length dramas: Piece of My Heart; Bliss; and Consent. SABELO MGIDI (SOUTH AFRICA)

Sabelo “Subz” Mgidi is a well-known screenwriter from Johannesburg and the author of three novels: The Split of Gary Oliver; The Exit Interview; and The Gautrain Heist, currently in development with Netflix as a six-episode series. Subz began screenwriting in 2013 and in 2019 was contracted as Head Writer for the hit Netflix show Kings of Joburg. It was the number one series on Netflix in numerous countries including South Africa, Jamaica, Nigeria, and Australia. Kings of Joburg won Best TV Series (Africa) at the Hollywood and African Prestigious Awards 2021 (HAPA 21).
